Today June 11, 2017 I, Dr. Dorothy J. Page am making an appeal to you, the people of God, the household of faith, even as David made an appeal to the people for contributions for the work that was set forth for Solomon to build God's House. Please see 1 Chron. 29:1-5, V9 & V17. In verse 5b David asked a question, "And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day unto the Lord?
And today I too, am asking that same question, "who is willing to consecrate his/her service to the Lord?" We are trying to provide a home for helpless and homeless children. This work is far greater than Dr. Kathleen and I alone. We need your support to make this happen, for the children of Ghana West Africa. We can see that God uses people, as He did with David and the congregation to whom he made an appeal too. The Bible tells us, "But whoso hath this worlds good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? 1 John 3:17
Cain asked, "Am I my brothers keeper?" And the answer is yes, we are our brothers keeper. God calls us to a way of life exemplified by Him and His Son, Jesus Christ. God demonstrated His love toward us, "in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:7-8 You and I can come to understand and apply that same kind of love and sacrifice that Jesus made for all humanity. And yes, the Bible describes it as being our, "brothers keeper," one who unfailingly "keeps", his brother or sister. Being your "brothers keeper", means to consider your neighbors need at all times, whether he or she is present or not.
A "brothers keeper", is one who understands Godly love as expressed by the very example that Christ showed us, by way of His sacrifice. My sincerest desire is that Assemble-Together and others will come along beside Dr. Kathleen and I, to help us to make a difference in the lives of these children. You would certainly be a very important part of this mission. We would love for you to come and physically work along side of us as well as to see your generous donations at work.
We only hope to encourage you to do your very best to help us with this great mission. Please CLICK HERE to go to our DONATION PAGE.
